Avenue Bookstore's Frequent Buyer program is open to all customers for all purchases: books, magazines, cards, gifts, stationery, special orders, sale items - everything!
Simply sign up, receive your membership card, then mention you're on the program each time you purchase. Once you've spent $250, we'll send you an award voucher to spend as you like.

What do I really get?
A full 10% rebate on every dollar spent at Avenue Bookstore, everyday, on all stock including sale items. $1 equals 1 Frequent Buyer point and once you've spent $250 (and accrued 250 points) you're eligible for an award.
What do I have to do?
It's easy! Sign-up in-store or on-line, we'll record today's and future purchases, and you begin to build Frequent Buyer points. We'll send you out a membership card to show at time of purchase.
How frequent is frequent?
As long as at least one purchase is recorded in any 12 month period your membership remains active.
Why do you need my details?
We need your contact details to send award vouchers. We'll also send you our complimentary seasonal reading guide, as well as occasional email updates about events, sales and other in-store happenings. Your address, telephone, and email details will be kept confidentially and not passed on to anyone. For more information please see privacy statement.

How do you record my purchases?
Each time you shop with us we add the details to the Frequent Buyer database. Simply let us know at the time of purchase that you're on the program and we'll add your points.
When do I get an award voucher?
Once you've spent $250 or more you're eligible for an award voucher. We process vouchers regularly and once we do, we'll post your voucher to you. As soon as you receive your award voucher it's ready to be redeemed - in part or in full - for anything in-store!
I forgot to mention the program last time I purchased
If you forget to log a purchase at the time, bring in your receipt or credit card statement and we'll happily add these to your points.
What if I live interstate or overseas?
We have Frequent Buyer customers from all over; as long as you purchase once a year you can be an active member.
Please note, we are happy to supply books to customers interstate or overseas, and can do this by phone or online. We'll send items to you adding appropriate postal costs to the total.
What if I lose my award voucher?
All awards are recorded in our Frequent Buyer database, so even if you lose or misplace your award voucher you can redeem your points. Just ask a staff member to check the database for award vouchers you have to redeem.
Do points expire?
Points don't expire and you can take as much time as you like to build up Frequent Buyer points,
What if I don't make a purchase within a 12 month period?
Your membership becomes inactive, but can be reactivated at any point, with old points carried forward.
What if I change address?
Please advise us if you move. If you are moving interstate or overseas for a period let us know if you wish to retain your member status.
