On the occasion of the centenary of the birth of the photographer Kati Horna, the Amparo Museum in Puebla, Mexico, has prepared an exhibition of his work, which can also be seen at the Jeu de Paume in Paris, France and the Palau de la Virreina in Barcelona , Spain. The book-catalog of the exhibition, co-edited with RM, represents an acknowledgment of his career and is the first monograph at the height of his work. The book follows in Kati's footsteps from Budapest to Paris, Spain and Mexico, and reflects his cosmopolitan and avant-garde personality. It contains essays by Peter Baki, Jean-François Chevrier, Diego Star, Juan Manuel Bonet and Jose Antonio Rodriguez, as well as a chronology by Ángeles Alonso and a text by his daughter Norah Horna. The included images reproduce unpublished original work, representative pieces of the genres that approached and documentary material rescued from the file of the artist. 160 photographs
