This is a true story. It is the story of Piero Manzoni. In a nonchalant style, illustrator Fausto Gilberti tells us the story of the life and work of one of the most important Italian artists of the twentieth century. Manzoni is famous for his 1961 artwork "Artist's Shit" consisting of 90 tin cans, numbered 001 to 090, each filled with 30 grams of faeces. The book is a humorous primer for adults as well as an introduction to contemporary art for children.
